Free access to information

According to § 2 par. 2 of Act no. 211/2000 Coll. on free access to information and on the amendment of certain laws (the Freedom of Information Act; hereinafter referred to as "the Act") by the person obliged to make information available. NASES provides information by publishing or making it available upon request.

Procedure

Submission of requests for the provision of information by the National Agency for Network and Electronic Services and their provision by NASES employees is governed by Act no. 211/2000 Coll. on free access to information and on amendments to certain laws (the Freedom of Information Act) and the directive on ensuring free access to information for natural and legal persons (hereinafter referred to as the "directive").

The request must be processed in accordance with the law and the rules specified in the directive.

Requests for making information available can be submitted:

a. In writing by mail to the address of the detached NASES workplace:

b. In person by written submission at the NASES office during office hours on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

c. In person orally to the legal and legislation organizational unit on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

d. Orally by phone on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on tel. number: +421 2 3278 0700.

It must be clear from the request for the provision of information to which obliged person it is intended, the name, surname, name or business name of the applicant, his residence address or registered office, which information the request relates to and what method of making the information available the applicant proposes.

NASES processes the request for making information available without undue delay, no later than eight working days from the date of submission of the request or from the date of removal of deficiencies in the application, and within 15 working days if the information is made available to a blind person in an accessible form. For serious reasons, the obliged person may extend the deadline, but by no more than eight working days and by 15 working days, if the information is made available to a blind person in an accessible form.


The information is provided in the form requested by the applicant by means of a transcript, a copy, on a data medium, orally, by post, by electronic mail (i.e. by e-mail or to an electronic mailbox) or by a link to already published information. If it is not possible to provide the information in the form requested by the applicant, NASES will agree with him on another form of providing the information. Requests for oral disclosure of information and disclosure of information by viewing the file are handled by the legal and legislation organizational unit.


The method of payment of costs is regulated by the Decree of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic no. 481/2000 Coll. on the details of payment of costs for making information available and in the Fee Schedule for making information available according to 21 par. 1 of the Act.
An appeal against the decision to reject a request for the provision of information can be filed within the time limits set by the Freedom of Information Act at the address indicated in point 3.


The Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic decides on the appeal.

Directive

Provision of information requested in accordance with Act no. 211/2000 Coll. on free access to information and on amendments to certain laws (the Freedom of Information Act) in the National Agency for Network and Electronic Services (hereinafter referred to as "NASES") is governed by the provisions of the law in question and the directive on ensuring free access to information for natural and legal persons in under NASES conditions. (hereinafter referred to as the "Directive").

Tariff for payment of costs for making information available

National Agency for Network and Electronic Services pursuant to § 5 par. 1 letter f) Act no. 211/2000 Coll. on free access to information and on the amendment of certain laws (the Freedom of Information Act) publishes the fee schedule below:

Costs associated with making a copy:
EUR 0.10 for the creation of one page of information in A4 format
0.16 euros for the production of double-sided information in A4 format
0.13 euros for the creation of one page of information in A3 format
EUR 0.20 for the production of double-sided information in A3 format
0.66 euros for one piece of CD ROM
Envelope
A6 format – 0.01 euro

A5 format – 0.03 euros

A4 format – 0.07 euros

The costs associated with sending the information are managed by the current price list of postal services.
Information sent by e-mail, fax and telephone is made available free of charge.
The applicant shall pay the costs associated with making the information available:
postal order

by non-cash transfer to the NASES account

in cash to the cash desk of NASES during office hours

Information is provided free of charge, for which the costs associated with making it available do not exceed the sum of EUR 4.98.
NASES bears the costs of making information available in an accessible form to a person with a sensory disability.
